This Privacy Policy governs the mechanism and manner in which Antex Parcel Transport Company ("Antex", "the Company", "we", "our", or "us") collects, processes, stores, shares, and retains information collected from users of our electronic platform, smart device applications, and all logistics, parcel transport, and shipping services provided by us. This policy applies to the platform and all applications, websites, services, and logistics solutions provided by Antex.

1. Legislative Basis and Regulatory Compliance

This policy has been prepared and drafted in full compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) issued in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Royal Decree No. (M/19) and its amendments, and the implementing regulations issued by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA). It also complies with the regulations of the Transport General Authority (TGA) and the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regarding the documentation of beneficiaries' shipments, identity verification, and electronic invoicing requirements.

2. Personally Identifiable Information We Collect

Antex collects personally identifiable information from users (whether they are senders, shipment recipients, or contracted e-commerce stores) in multiple ways when they visit the platform, register, create a shipping order, or track a parcel. This data includes the following:

  • Basic Data: Full name, National ID number, or Iqama number of the recipient/sender (in compliance with governing shipment documentation legislation).

  • Contact and Address Data: Email address, mobile phone number, and Saudi National Address details (short code, street name, city, and postal code) to ensure accurate delivery across all regions of the Kingdom (Central, Western, Eastern, and Southern regions).

  • Financial Data: Credit card or bank account details when paying through approved digital channels (such as Apple Pay, mada, or other channels). This data is processed entirely through a secure and encrypted payment gateway without storing pin codes or passwords on our systems.

  • Geographic Location Data: Live and real-time coordinates (GPS) of the recipient to ensure accuracy and to develop and enhance the last-mile delivery service.

3. Technical Information (Non-Personally Identifiable)

We automatically collect non-personal technical information when a user interacts with our digital platform, including: smartphone type, operating system (iOS or Android), browser information, and technical details about the user's means of connection to the platform (such as internet service provider, IP address), and device identifiers. This is collected for security purposes, fraud prevention, and to optimize application performance.

4. Legal Purposes of Data Processing (How We Use Your Information)

Based on your explicit consent and in accordance with the requirements for executing shipping and transport contracts, Antex uses data for the following purposes:

  • Developing the Platform and Services: Analyzing feedback and surveys to update shipping services and improve application interfaces based on user behavior.

  • Communication and Sending Periodic Notifications: Using your email address and phone number to send shipment status updates and issued VAT invoices, in addition to sending news and promotional offers if you choose to join our mailing list (with an option to unsubscribe immediately via the link provided at the bottom of each email).

5. Data Protection and Cybersecurity Standards

Antex is committed to implementing the Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC) issued by the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA). We follow strict procedures for collecting, storing, and handling data to protect it against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All sensitive and financial data exchanged between the platform and users is encrypted using standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS), and data is stored in closed cloud environments protected by advanced firewalls and continuous vulnerability monitoring systems.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure Limits

Antex confirms that it never sells, trades, or rents users' personally identifiable data to any third-party marketing entities. Data sharing is strictly limited to the following exceptional and legal cases:

  • Government and Regulatory Authorities: When legally requested by judicial, security, or regulatory authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (such as the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, or the Transport General Authority) in compliance with governing laws.

  • Service Providers and Operational Partners (Third Parties): We may engage allied logistics companies, technical service providers, payment gateways, or technical support companies to assist us in operating our business (such as SMS services to send verification codes and shipment tracking). Data is shared with these parties strictly within the scope of the specified purpose and under binding data confidentiality agreements that prohibit them from using the data for any other purpose.

7. Links and Third-Party Content

Our platform may contain links to external websites or partner e-commerce stores. Antex informs you that we do not control the content or practices of those external sites and are not responsible for them. Your browsing and interaction on any other website are subject to the terms and policies of that independent website.
